It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juan Garcia of Tynan, Texas, born in Mathis, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ofilia Garcia (Alaniz) and Guadalupe Garcia Sr.; and his grandparents, Gregoria Garcia, Juan and Emilia Alaniz.
He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Garcia (Mary) of Las Cruces, Juan J. Garcia (Marizella) of Las Cruces and Amanda Hernandez (Josue) of Las Cruces; and his siblings, Guadalupe Garcia Jr. (Molly) of Goliad, Delia Menchaca (Jose Sr.) of Tynan, Georgie Menchaca (Albert Sr.) of Moore, Elia Barrientes (Pedro Jr.) of Tynan, Ofelia Garcia of Premont and Emily Garcia (David Herrera) of Tynan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
