With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Whitman Finch Jr. of Tyler, Texas, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whitman Finch and Jessie Quintilla Finch (Bozeman); and his former wife Maxine Finch (Grimes). He is survived by: his wife Betty Finch (Bonner); his children, William "Whit" Finch (Lisa), Tammy Stephenson (Chuck) and David Rockland Finch (Marlynne); his sister Mary Hodges (Charlie); his niece Dawn Townsend (Hodges); his nephew Paul Hodges; his grandchildren, Michelle Dotson (Zane), Landry Finch (Audrey), Logan Finch, Bryan Stephenson, Cameron Finch (Laura) and Bailey Finch; and his great grandchildren, Charli Kate Dotson, Brady Layne Finch and Kelby James Dotson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation.
