With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne W. Pevehouse of Tyler, Texas, born in Frost, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin Pevehouse and Jessie Estella Reeves Pevehouse; his siblings, Gerald Pevehouse Sr. (Mary Frances Burks), Infant Pevehouse, Betty Jo Nielsen, Winnie Faye Winder, Jewell Maurine Barrett (Lloyed Barrett) and Wanda Jean Pevehouse; his nephew Gerald Pevehouse, Jr.; his niece Mary Beth Kitchens; and his son-in-law Michael Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Reta Pevehouse Brown and Phyllis Pevehouse Peters (Rick Peters); his wife Peggy Jean Owen Pevehouse; his son Rick Pevehouse (Marti Pevehouse); his grandchildren, Amber Goodwin, Shane Peters (Josie Peters), Ryan Pevehouse (Emily Pevehouse), Kelly Barnes (Blake Barnes), Jeff Pevehouse and Robyn Keating; and his great grandchildren, Lake Keating, Paige Stavenhagen, Jenna Stavenhagen, Morgan Pevehouse, Cheyanne Foster, Jayden Peters, Jaxon Peters, Awgust Pevehouse, Ryan Pevehouse Jr. and Rein Pevehouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation in Wayne's memory to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, TX 75701.
