He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Wood (Hill) and Thomas Andrew (Andy); and his stepfather James Tidwell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wood (Adair); his son Andy (Michelle Wood) of Brownsboro; his grandchildren, Lauren (Coby Boyd) of Chandler, Nicholas (Amber Wood) of Brownsboro, Alexander Wood and Anna Borel of Tyler; his great grandchildren, Samuel, Oliver, Avery, Kinley, Baker and Daniel; and his siblings, Betty Ivy, Wayne Wood, Edward Wood, Gary Wood and Billy Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Leagueville Baptist Church (12081 FM317, Murchison, TX 75778).
