She was predeceased by: her parents, George Melvin and Minnie Slayton Melvin; her husband Harold Vaught; and her children, Bruce Vaught and Sandra Gail Alvey.

She is survived by: her son Randall Vaught. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
