Shirley Mae Hardisty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2024, at the age of 95, Shirley Mae Hardisty of Tyler, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Shirley Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harry; and her parents, Mary Ditzig and Joseph Ditzig of Waukegan, Illinois.. She was also cherished by one goddaughter, two sons, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
