She was predeceased by: her father John Rozell; her former husband Stewart Merrill; her husband Jimmy Hooker; her parent Elderado Kelly Rozell (Tyler); and her sister Elizabeth Ann Rozell Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Merrill (Walter Jordan) and Jill Merrill (Neal Kitchens); her grandchildren, Kara, Melanie Jordan and Jonathon Kitchens; her great grandchildren, Elyana, Belle Cochran, Gracie, Jordan Stone and Violet Kitchens; and her daughter Santa. She is also survived by her family she was Mama and Grandma.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home (215 E Front St, Tyler, TX 75702). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery (12053 State Hwy 64, Tyler, TX 75704).
