As Ruby departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ruby. Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bartlet Rutherford and Beatrice Lee Reeves; her husband John Thomas Cliver, Sr.; and her son John Thomas Cliver, Jr.. She is survived by: her brothers, Clinton and Clifton Rutherford; and her children, G. W. Cliver and Nancy Warburton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She loved to cook and sew, and was a member of Sojourners, the Alzheimer's Association, and West Erwin Church of Christ in Tyler.
