He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Tryphena Williams (Spainhour) and Lee Williams; and his siblings, Bennie Wade Williams Sr., Chester Williams, Henry Williams, Carl Williams, Tillman Williams, J. P. Williams, Iva Lee Henderson, Alma Chamblee, Jane Phillips and Mary Corley.
He is survived by: his son Jay Williams (Joyce) of Mineola; his daughter-in-law Samantha Williams of Athens; his sisters, Ruby Corley of Corsicana and Gladys Godwin (Don) of Athens; and his grandchildren, Marshall Williams, Sarah Pearce, Jaron Williams, Jayna Williams, Schee Adams and Bennie Wade Williams Jr.. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
