With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neil Curtis Whittle of Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 93. As we bid Neil Curtis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Neil Curtis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Whittle and Annabelle Whittle. He is survived by: his wife Linda Etheridge; his sons, Dale Whittle (Roberta Whittle) of Pinehurst and Gary Whittle (Appriel) of Chandler; and his grandchildren, Reagan I. Whittle of Spring, Linda M. Whittle of Chandler, Mary E. Whittle of Chandler and Stephen N. Whittle of San Antonio.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (934 Co Rd 4818, Wolfe City, TX 75496).
