It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudie Barron (Tyler, Texas), who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maudie Barron to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, J. B. Kemp and Ethel Smith Kemp; her former life partner Herman Hall Sr.; her husband Gus Lee Barron; and her siblings, J. D. Kemp, J. W. Kemp, Johnny B. Kemp, Levolia Kemp, Emanuel Kemp and Irene Coffer.

She is survived by : her children, Sheila Dewberry of Tyler and Herman Wayne Hall (Ledetrice) of Dallas; her stepchildren, Barbara Hall-Crowe of Longview, Connie Hall-Richardson of Arlington and Herman Hall, Jr. of Longview; and her siblings, Mable L. Berry (James) of Tyler, Bob Kemp of Tyler and Sam Kemp, Sr. of Dallas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Birth (805 N Confederate Ave, Tyler, TX 75702).
