He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Ford Cobb and Elmer Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his sons, Bryant, Ward of Tyler, TX, Reginald Cobb and Lamar Cobb of Tyler, TX; his sister-in-law Alecia Cobb of Little Elm, TX; and his niece Crystal Cobb of Arlington, TX. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
