It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Bass of Tyler, Texas, born in Texas City, Texas, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Wayne Bass; and his grandparents, William, Lottis Mae Christian, Grady Bass and Marie Bass.

He is survived by: his wife Dianna Stewart Bass of Tyler; his mother Sue Nell Bass of Kilgore; his children, Chad Bass (Stacey) of Tyler, Jason Bass of Tyler and Melanie Bass Johnson of Flint; his siblings, Terri Downing of Kilgore, Tony and Sharron Bass of Kilgore; his grandchildren, Ashley Bass (Alex Williams), Preslie Rameriz (Kaden), Ashton Tarpley, Austin Johnson, Shelby Bass, Katie Johnson, Logan Bass, Khloe Bass and Addison Bass; and his great grandchildren, Abigal, Parker and Maribel.
