She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnace Milton Smith and Marjorie Janice Smith (Hughes); and her husband Carl. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Shamburger (Judy) of Houston and Andrew Shamburger (Colleen) of McKinney; her grandchildren, Jason, Jared of Houston, Luke and Ryan of McKinney; and her sister Barbara Smith Hendrix of Tyler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the following organizations: Pine Springs Baptist Church (Women's Ministry) or Tyler Catholic School Foundation.
