It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Elbert Clark of Tyler, Texas, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Lila Clark (Chitwood); his wife Sue Holloway Clark; and his brother Frank Clark. He is survived by: his brothers, Harry Tilley (Norma) and Frank Tilley (Connie Beck); his daughters, Janet Marek (John) of Tyler and Susan Clark of Mesquite; his grandchildren, Matthew Clark Marek (Katie), Mandi Adams (Travis) and Rachel Zieman (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Addison, Barrett, John, Westley, Lula and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes North Texas (FCA) in Plano.
