She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwendolyn Harmon and Frank Leon Leggett; her husband James H. Rippy (Jim); and her sister Nelda Wilson Brownlee. She is survived by: her sons, James Reed Rippy (Suzie) of Tyler, Charles Glenn Rippy (Michele) of Tyler and Lewis Bradley Rippy (Jennifer) of Tyler; her brother-in-law David Rippy (Maridel) of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Morgan Rippy Young (Alan), James Patrick Rippy, Charles Glenn Rippy, Jr., Matthew Clark Rippy (Alex), Lewis Bradley Rippy, Jr. (Mallory), George William Rippy and Calvin Frank Rippy; and her great grandchild Amelia Patricia Rippy.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Marvin Methodist Church, 300 W. Erwin, Tyler, Texas 75702 or to the charity of your choice.
