He was predeceased by: his parents, Gusta Amelia Chandler and Leslie Chandler; his siblings, Carmon Chandler, Leslie Chandler, Ansel Chandler, William Chandler, Stafford Chandler, James Chandler, Clifton Chandler and Nellie Lewis; and his grandchildren, Cash Matthews and Cristi Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Chandler; his children, Keith Chandler (Shirley) of Tyler, Twila Nations of Carthage, Greg Chandler (Beth) of Tyler and Donni Cook (Tom) of Tyler; and his sister Melba Roberts Page.
