She was predeceased by: her parents, Darcie Brooks and Vester Wideman Brooks; and her siblings, John C Widemon, Marcus Widemon and Aldene Dunning.

She is survived by: her children, William Lamon Goodwyn of Tyler, Texas, Angela Battles of Tyler, Texas and Christa Henry (Heaven) of Tyler, Texas; and her siblings, Travis Widemon of Tyler, Alton Widemon (Juana) of Lindale and Christell Widemon Warren of Whitehouse, Texas. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
