He is survived by: his wife Sally Reyes; his sons, Robert and Jesse Butler; his grandchildren, Bradley Butler (Alice), Sherman, Levi Losey, Desire and Jesslin Butler; his nieces and nephews, Esther Roady, Claudia, Noemi, Adriana Ricardo, Juan and Nuvia Chavez; and also Bradley "Rooster" Butler.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
