She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn Averitt (Gary) of Mansfield, TX and Peggy Bigham (Dan) of Arlington, TX.; and her children, Debbie Phillips (Mike) of Lindale, TX, Brenda Rachuig (Charlie) of Richardson, TX, Roger Averitt (Beth) of Hideaway, TX and Phyllis Powell (Charlie) of Kingsport, TN..
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the name of Ruth Charlton to Hospice of East Texas.
