She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Robert Spiegel II and Diana Caroline Reed; and her siblings, Paula Roberta Spiegel and Mark Easley Spiegel. She is survived by: her brother Edward Robert Spiegel III (Theresa); her nieces and nephews, Amie Spiegel Jones, Melissa Spiegel Fischer, Charles E. R. Spiegel and Mark James Spiegel (Jim); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madeleine Jones, Morgan Fischer, Emerson Spiegel, Jared Jones, Nathaniel Fischer and Lane Spiegel.
