He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Staton and Lemma Staton (Innmon); his wife Mary Ann Staton; his sister Jonnie Ruth Williamson; and his grandson Matthew Allen Zumwalt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Hutchinson (Kevin) of Tyler, Texas, Laurie Roehrig (Tom) of Buda, Texas and Lisa Zumwalt of Tyler, Texas.; his grandchildren, Amber Bailey (Jonathan) of Austin, Texas, Christina Roehrig of Tyler, Texas and Luke Roehrig of Plano, Texas; his great grandchildren, Cassandra, Adam and Jacob Bailey of Austin, Texas.; and his aunt Vernie (Alice Staton). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other friends.
