He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Franklin Morton, Jr. and Florene Thompson Morton; and his son-in-law Stanley C. Burks. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bickerdike Morton; his children, Craig Morton and Tanya Morton Burks; his stepchildren, Joel Harris and Staci Harris Lewis; his sister Judy McConnell; and his niece Kelly Cowan. He is also survived by two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
