Carl Bohanon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Bohanon of Tyler, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bohanon, Jr. and Onys Jane Little Bohanon; and his sister Sandra Bohanon Liles. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Bohanon Dyson (Ellis) of Katy; his brother Derrell Bohanon (Beverly) of Flint; his grandchildren, Rylie Dyson and Chase Dyson of Katy; and his nieces, Jamie Hancock (Michael) of Flint and Dr. Crystal Bohanon of Flint.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703).
