He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Edwards and Minnie Purvis Edwards; and his siblings, Claude Edwards, Lewis Edwards and Mary Lou Cross.
He is survived by: his wife Beth; his daughters, Gina Hammack (David) of McKinney and Melany Porter (Steve) of Plano; and his grandchildren, Collin Hammack (Morgan), Brady Hammack, Ayden Porter, Jackson Porter and Isabella Porter. He is also survived by many many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stewart Family Funeral Home (7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
