It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Andrews in Tyler, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Betty had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Betty may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alford Andrews and Gladys Schoonover (Brown). She is survived by: her children, Eric Hanks (Rita) of Troup and Robin Barrington of Troup; and her sister Mary Turner of Topeka, KS. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cottle Funeral Home (105 E Bradford St, Troup, TX 75789). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McFadden Cemetery.
