With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LeRoy Goodgion of Tye, Texas, born in Floydada, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As LeRoy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though LeRoy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy LeRoy leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Virginia "Galloway" Goodgion and Howard Edward Goodgion; his close friend Grand Master James Cox; his wife Luanne Goodgion; his siblings, Dannie Carl Goodgion and Kay Lanford; and his son Howard Gregory Goodgion.

He is survived by: his sister Jo Moore (Paul Moore) of Tye; and his sister-in-law Bronda Sue Goodgion of Merkel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tye Cemetery Organization – PO Box 64, Tye, TX 79563.
