He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Warren Davis and Pauline Shockley Davis; and his siblings, Alvie Lloyd (Martha Louise Davis) of Clyde, Vernon Doyal Davis, Sr. of Tye and Andra Davis (Chuck Talbot) of Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Davis of Tye; his daughters, Jennifer Davis Hunt (Jessie) of Merkel and Heather Davis of Tye; his siblings, Mike, Richard Davis, Joyce Boyett, Sandra Willborn, Paulette Maynard and Thressa Hansen; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Hunt, Karlee Hale (Quinton), Kenley Balaban (Alex), Avery Davis-Taylor and Kingston Farris.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel (1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
