It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilda Laverne (Knight) Sargent of Tuscola, Texas, born in Brownwood, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Francis and Mozzell Knight; her brothers, Lynn and Leland Knight; and her grandson Cody Burleson.

She is survived by: her siblings, Bill, James, Paul, Allen, Wayne Knight, Wanda Oliver and Donna Horton; her sister-in-law Betty Knight; and her nieces and nephews, Dale Burleson (Tina), James Burleson (Veronica), Jim Burleson (Kay) and Peggy Fugate (Brian). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
