It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Owens (Tuscola, Texas), who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis and Linnie Elizabeth Archer (Watson); her husband James Arnold "J. A."; her grandson James Randolph Morris; and her siblings, David, Herman, Marshall, Carl, Robert Archer, Roberta Lindsey and Marjorie Bassett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Marie Morris Denunzio (David) of Oplin and Arletta Kay O'Shields (James) of Coleman; her brother George Oscar Archer (Linda); and her grandchildren, Cheryl Galvan, Tiffeny Fulgham, Regina Woodard, Amanda Leamons, Levi Woodard and Jarret O'Shields. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
