He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Martinez and Maria Martinez; his son Angel; his siblings, Juan Martinez, Pablo Martinez, Arculano Martinez, Espirion Martinez, Bruna Lopez, Francisca Reyna, Maria Moreno and Socorro Charles; and his niece Delia Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his children, Elsa Quintanilla, Esmeralda Solorzano (Miguel), Ramon Martinez Jr. (Maria Isela), Ernest Martinez and Robert Martinez (Michelle); and his sister Julia Nava (Manuel). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
