He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Meador and Lois Tabor Meador; and his brothers, Robert and Donald. He is survived by: his children, Trina Boulter and Chad Meador; his grandchildren, Courtney (Thomas), Janae (Jerry), Parker (Amanda), Ravyn (Chelsea) and McKenna Meador; his great grandchildren, Brody, Skylar, Jodi, Noah-Kate and Karter; and his brother Johnny (Gayle Meador). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
