It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Marie McBride of Tuscola, Texas, born in Merkel, Texas, who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd W. Gilmore and Beaulah Gilmore (Reidenbach); her husband James McBride (Runt); and her siblings, Lloyd, Rob, Lucille and Doris.
She is survived by: her children, Bud, Betty Pilgrim (Earnie), James McBride (Donna), Forrest McBride and Donald McBride (Lisa); her grandchildren, Sheila, Jon Bright of Rankin, Sally, Jonathan Armstrong of Leander, Linda, Javier Landeros of Buffalo Gap, Brian McBride of Tuscola, Will, Britni McBride of Tuscola, Andrew, Missy Pilgrim of Leavenworth, KS and Leddy McBride of Gainesville; and her great grandchildren, Landan, Logan Bright, Cohen, Clara, Charlie Armstrong, Audrey, Demitri Pilgrim, Colby, Logan McBride, Corey, Briley and Marcus Pilgrim.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rose Hill Cemetery, Meals on Wheels Abilene, or Hendrick Hospice.
