She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Monroe Rose and Lottie Aldridge Rose; her husband Doyle Eugene Shamblin of Goldsboro; and her siblings, Jean Shamblin, Von Dean Elkins and David Joe Rose (Bo).
She is survived by: her son David Jeffery Shamblin; her grandchildren, Jessica Lewis, Hunter Shamblin, Nicole James and Emily Dominy; and her siblings, Carolyn Moore and Danny Rose. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
