He is survived by: his daughters, Julie (Roger Poncy) and Elaine (Randy Hooper); his wife Jill Buchanan of Ben Wheeler; his son Timothy (Jamey Buchanan); his siblings, Wiley "Dub" Buchanan, Jr. and Juanita Peck; his grandchildren, Adam Poncy (Kelli), Clint Poncy (Stephanie), Holly Buchanan, Jason Buchanan (Mary Ellen), Taylor Buchanan, Blake Buchanan (Victoria), Abigale Hooper and Claire Hooper; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Noelle, Omri, Cady, Micah, John Luke "LJ" and Easton.
