He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnson and Nora Pitcock Johnson; his daughter Noel Dawn Johnson; and his siblings, Dale, Don Johnson, Wanda Brown, Evelyn Callahan, Belva Terry and Martha Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Agatha Faye Wright; his children, Leslie (Paul Henderson) of Plainview and Nick Johnson (Lisa) of Canyon; his sister Robena Duncan of Artesia, NM.; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Jonathan Murphy of Manville, Camarie, Sam Fleming of Conroe, Dalton Henderson of Plainview, Miller and Leah Johnson of Canyon; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Ashira Fleming of Conroe and Caleb J Murphy of Manville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Noel Johnson Athletics Scholarship at Midwestern State University.
