Mildred Mote Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 88, Mildred Mote (Tulia, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peel and Ada Peel; her daughter Brenda Jo Mote; and her siblings, Manning, Harold, Robert, William Peel, Margaret Peel and Evelyn Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Wood Mote of Tulia; her sons, Forrest Mote (Dorinda) of Amarillo and Stanton Mote of Amarillo; her niece Libbie Reeves; her grandchildren, Khrissen Barbee (Justin), Shea Brown (JD), Kelvin Mote, Dalton Mote (Madilyn Moran), Dillon Mote (Caitlin Van Ongevalle) and Tilly Mote; and her great grandchildren, Alexa Ryder (Donald), Summer Randol (Luke), Krese Barbee, Mackenzie and Ivy Brown.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tulia - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (201 W Broadway Ave, Tulia, TX 79088). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Tulia (101 N Crosby Ave, Tulia, TX 79088).
