He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Resendiz and Martina Resendiz; and his brothers, Miguel and Faustino. He is survived by: his children, Maria Resendiz-Birchfield (Steven Mark Birchfield), Asusena Resendiz, Pedro Resendiz, Juan Jose Resendiz (Marcela Oliva Resendiz), Ramon Resendiz (Angelica Rodriguez Resendiz) and Daniel Resendiz; and his siblings, Isidoro, Norberto, Tomas, Ramiro and Maria. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations be made to Boot Campaign or Wounded Warrior Project.
