With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Rex Walker (Tulia, Texas), who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Herbert and Celia May Walker; his brother Lewis; his sister-in-law Joyce Walker; and his stepson Bobby Joe Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Carol Walker of Plainview; his brother Garland Walker (Ruth) of Amarillo; and his children, Angela Younglas (Larry) of Lubbock, Kathy Scholl (Joe David Castilleja), Pam Ashley (Tim) of Dallas and Monty Walker (Lilly) of Amarillo. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family suggests memorials in memory of David to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice.
