He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Hernandez and Esther Hernandez (Garza); his siblings, Domingo Hernandez and Felicita Hernandez; his daughter Rosalinda Zaragoza; his son-in-law Jesse Martinez; his grandson Manuel Carbajal Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Kylie Nolan, Penelope Hernandez and Bridget Konetsco.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Hernandez; his children, Alfredo Hernandez Jr. (Rhonda), Ramona Martinez, Roland Hernandez (Evonne), Christina Mayhall (Jim), Ralph Hernandez (Hilda), Robert Hernandez (Cindy), Rene Hernandez (Rosemary) and Bianca Hernandez (Mike); and his brother Richard Hernandez. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.
