He is survived by: his wife Julia Turner (Winkler); his children, Jeannie Elliott (Jason) of Temple, Terry Daniel Turner (Tiffany) of Temple and Sarah Shannon of Temple; his siblings, James Turner of Belton, Delan Turner (Pam) of Belton, Danny Turner of Odessa, Tricia Small (Steve) of Temple and Ashley Turner of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Goode (Jamayne Scott) of Temple, Kassidy Turner of Temple, Shayla Shannon of Temple and Karly Turner of Temple; his great grandchild Haidon Scott of Temple; his brother Tom; and his siblings-in-law, Jean and Gordon Winkler of Temple. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
