It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Peter Schauer of Troy, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kevin Peter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kevin Peter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Schauer; his daughters, Brianna Gilmartin (Hayley) and Tayler Vangelas (Tim); his grandson Declan Gilmartin; and his stepchildren, Tera Summers, Nick and Gianna Floria.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home (500 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St.Jude's Hospital in Kevin's memory.
