It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Hessbrook of Troy, Texas, born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Rodriguez and Pascuala Rodriguez (Garcia); her husband Raymond Settlers Hessbrook; her sons, Alfonso, Alonso Chavarria and Salvador Rodriguez; and her sister Juanita Vasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Esther Sierraz of San Jose, Emma Chavarria of San Jose, Estella Chavarria of San Jose, Jose Chavarria of Woodland, Eliska Hessbrook of Troy, Rachel Rodriguez of Temple and Raul Hessbrook of Temple; her sister Ana Galvan; her pet Kitty-Kitty; and her granddaughter Savannah Perez. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
The family will be accepting visitors at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon between the hours of 3 and 4:30 p. m. with the Blessed Rosary being recited beginning at 4 o'clock p. m. Family has requested that face coverings be worn at all times as well as social distancing be practiced while at the services as much as possible.
