He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mays and Edna Mays (Bigham); his former wife Doris Mays (Caffrey); his siblings, Jane Tolbert, Raymond and Tom; his son-in-law Homer Goldston; his granddaughter Tammy Hart; and his great grandchild Lyric Vidaurri.
He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Jerry (Laura) of Salado, Lynn (Ralynn) of Troy, Ann Goldston of Belton and Byron (Amanda) of Troy; and his siblings, Wayne Mays (Carol) and Frances McFarland (Glyn).
