He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Cecil Arthur and Gladys Hemphill Arthur; and his siblings, Dolly Burns, Carolyn Swan and H. C. Arthur, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Pearl Arthur; his daughters, Jody Steed (Michael), Beverly Wigginton (Rick) and Bonita LaRue (Michael); his grandchildren, James Wigginton (Jacque), Fiona, Malakai and Faelyn Steed; his great grandchildren, Kimberlyn and Delaney; and his pet Rascal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
