It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis C. Thompson of Troup, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Thompson and Pauline Stone Thompson; and his son Shawn Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Lavada Thompson of Troup; his children, Lesli Richardson (Larry) of Longview, Phylann Horan of Marshall, Lori Peek of Troup and Carl Everett (Krista) of Troup; and his sisters, Frances Samuel of Troup, Sue Dulberg of Tyler, Nell Millen of Troup, Vernita Ogden of Troup and Sug Sherwood of Houston. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
