She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Martin and Ida Duvall Martin; her husband Rayford Cherry; her daughter Joyce A. Harris; her brother Douglas C. Martin; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn C. Martin and Frances Oden.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald R. Cherry (Elaine) of Pasadena, David M. Cherry (Alice) of Troup, Michael L. Cherry (Linda) of Troup and Gregory W. Cherry (Georgia) of Lake Jackson. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
