He was predeceased by: his parents, William Orr and Mary Gladys McCaskey Hunt; and his siblings, Martin Hunt, Mary Hunt and Margaret Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Mitcham Hunt of Troup; his children, Terry Hunt of Troup, Christina Miles (John) of Lovelady and Robby Shepherd (Bettie) of Ashland, OR; his granddaughter Lauren Hunt of Tyler; and his godchildren, Dawn Preble of Rapid City, SD and John Ardry of Medford, OR..
