He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Stanton and Bennie Stanton; his siblings, Elmer Stanton, Sible Evans, Ruby Fitzgerald, Betty Martin, Willie Mae Fitzgerald and Mildred Smith; and his granddaughter Krystal Stanton.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Debbie Wilkins of Whitehouse and Roger Stanton (Charla) of Whitehouse; his grandchildren, Stephanie Barnes, Jessica (Steven Baker), Corey (Katherine Stanton) and Laura Stanton; his siblings, JT (Pat) of Whitehouse and Modell Holman; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Perry, Trenton Green, Trevor Green, Nathan Green, Abby Baker, Addison Baker and Lucas Scott Stanton.
