It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Garrett (Troup, Texas), born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garrett and Jean Allen Garrett; his brother James Ray Garrett; his parents-in-law, Floyd "Buck" and Valaska "Ducky" Tennison; and his sister-in-law R. Tennison.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Garrett; his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Jeremiah Redding; his son Kevin; his daughter-in-law Gaylynn Garrett; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Brianna Redding, Ashlyn, Cheyenna Garrett and Jake David Garrett. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
